Designed by Dotdash, a comprehensive wayfinding and signage strategy has been developed for the Mt Coot-tha precinct to help guide visitors around the many trails, walks and picnic areas.
Located 6 kms west of the Brisbane CBD, Mt Coot-tha has long been a haven for nature lovers, cyclists, and trail users. Forming a backdrop for the city, it is Brisbane City Council's largest natural area.
It contains more than 1600 hectares of eucalyptus forest and features spectacular views to Moreton Bay, Stradbroke Island and the southern ranges, seasonal creeks and waterfalls.
Drawn from the landscape, an earthy colour and a sustainable materials palette form the basis of the visual communication for destination, directional, bicycle and vehicular signage.
