State of Flow
Opening in July 2018, the Brisbane City Council Library belies its former history.
What was once a dark and uninviting shopping centre carpark has been transformed into an treasure trove of community learning and engagement.
Working closely with the Brisbane City Projects Architect, her strong and bold interior colour palette inspired us to design a series of environmental graphics based around the notion of Flow.
The state of flow has been described by the world’s greatest thinkers as the most productive and creative state of mind in which to work.
Our environmental graphics expanded this theory by introducing undulating rhythmic patterns, that could be expanded and reconfigured to suit the changing spatial needs.
